ONDO PDP CHIEFTAIN COMMENDS MIMIKO

The Ondo state deputy chairman of the People's Democratic Party, Hon. Fatai Adams spoke to Gdev news from the PDP secretariat in Akure, on the party's level of preparedness towards their forthcoming primaries in the state and also restated the party's committment towards continuity in governance.
In his words, 'PDP is the only party in Ondo state and every other party is secondary. We are fully prepared for the guber election and I'm sure it is going to be a continuous government of PDP in the state. The incumbent government has put a lot of developmental projects in place already therefore, a continuity in government will build on that to improve more in the state'.

HON, FATAI A. ADAMS

When asked on the various challenges he has observed within the state government, He said, 'challenges in government is not an Ondo state thing alone but a national issue. And let me quickly tell u, PDP is winning handsomely in the state'.
So what is your advice to the opposition party in the state? Asked Michael of gdev news,
'The opposition should be ready to celebrate our government with us in November. And then join in developing the state with us to sustain the peace we have been enjoying. Ondo state is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria and we must guide it jealously' he said.
'PDP is doing well in the state right now. We have members in all 3009 polling units, 203 wards and all the crannies and nooks of the state. In this light, I advice people of Ondo to be more patient with the governor. Government pays salaries 24th, 25th of every month initially but because of the dangling of resources, income from the national levels has nose dived seriously. And because of economic crisis in the country, even the minster of finance, Kemi Okeosun declared that Nigeria is in a recession.
The special things I have to say about the people of Ondo state is that they are fantastic in terms of instability, hospitality, they are peace loving people, hardworking, brilliant and very enlightened people', He said.
